The ReGenerative Roots Association builds community farms, plants community orchards around New England, manages an active food pantry in Nashua, NH and develops farm-to-school programs at their public schools. These programs help develop strong social connections and community resilience among diverse people through the common foundation of healthy food.
ReGenerative Roots is now offering grants of $750 Fedco gift certificates for 10 projects to purchase plants for community orchards and food forest projects throughout the Northeast and as a Maine school garden, you are eligible to apply!
Grant Timeline:
- Opens: July 1st, 2026
- Closes: August 31st, 2026
- Decisions Sent: October 31st, 2026
Eligibility Requirements:
- Your program must plant at least 10 fruit or nut trees in 2027 in:
- NH, MA, ME, VT, RI, CT, NY, NJ, or PA
- Your program must pledge to donate at least 10% of future harvests to a food pantry
