When was your garden project started?
I am not completely sure…. I joined the staff last year and am working to revitalize and make the gardens a year round part of our school’s learning.

a K-2 School
What programs does your garden project include?
classroom connections….. hopefully cafeteria connection…. we will be hosting a literary buffet for students and families this spring

local grant and school funds
What community connections do you have?
We are going to host a literary buffet this spring for students and families….. we hope to grow produce for school and the local food pantry, and we are looking to make a connection with the Maine Veterans’ Home.
Who tends the garden when school’s out?
myself, hopefully parents through “sign-up genius”
What are your future goals?
possibly add perennials, fruit bushes, and maybe some fruit trees…. also cooking activities
