Our garden was established during the 2014-2015 school year.

We have a school garden.

garden curriculum (taught during the school day during spring and fall) and a compost program

Does your garden have a paid coordinator?
No

Who volunteers in your garden?
The coordinator is not paid. I volunteer countless hours to run our school garden! Other teachers, students, families, and community members volunteer.

How is your garden project funded?
Through grants that I write with our building principal

What community connections do you have?
We are a a Franklin County SING (Schools Integrating Nutrition and Gardening) working with the Franklin County Food Council.

Who tends the garden when school’s out?
The coordinator visits once or twice weekly to check on things, and community members sign up to help.
