The garden is funded through donations and fundraisers.

What community connections do you have?
Our garden committee is made up of parents from the community and teachers. Home Depot, Rankins and Fedco have been contributing to meet some of our needs.

Who tends the garden when school’s out?
The summer school program and the garden committee tend the garden during the summer months.

What are your future goals?
Our future goals are to build a solid curriculum around creating and caring for the garden. The curriculum will satisfy Science standards for our state. We would also like to extend our growing season by heating our greenhouse and building it out more. We are building more garden beds this year as well.

What is your most significant need?
Perennials, removal of a prickle bush, soil to fill 10 beds, bark mulch for our front garden, a solar system to heat our greenhouse.
