While there were small pockets of gardening projects around the the school, May 1, 2022 marks the official start of our Community Garden.

What programs does your garden project include?
The garden is integrated into curriculum across grade levels and also provide food fo the cafeteria. WBS is part of the Farm and Sea to School Network this year.

Who volunteers in your garden?
We have a Garden Committee that consists of WBS staff, local families, and Master Gardeners

School funds when available
What community connections do you have?
The Garden Committee promotes strong community connections and all school families are involved in garden through programming and / or the cafeteria.
Who tends the garden when school’s out?
WBS teacher Beth Jarvis with help from WBS families and Garden Committee members
What are your future goals?
To have a flourishing sustainable garden that brings the community together in healthy practices with love and respect for the environment.
