currently involves classrooms grades preK – 5 planting a theme garden, and following up with harvest in the fall, budding garden club led by high school students

What are your future goals?
To have more time in the schedule to focus on the garden with students-perhaps even making it a ‘special’ in the warmer months. To coordinate with the cafeteria to grow foods that they could serve or at least offer as a taste test. To figure out a sustainable way to compost the school’s food waste.

What is your most significant need?
Time to coordinate with others in the school in order to connect the garden with their curriculum and to follow through with harvest/cooking.
