we have a supportive island community with many seasonal gardeners
Who tends the garden when school’s out?
there are school funded opportunities for up to 2 students to work in the garden and one adult per season
What are your future goals?
We are continuing our work putting new plastic and end walls on the large hoop house, we would like to build an outdoor kitchen area as we’ve been gifted a woodstove and already have a nice cider press
What is your most significant need?
I need some time off in the summer; to be able to leave the little island I live on and know that the garden & orchard (which also houses laying hens), is well cared for and the student worker has adult supervision and guidance when needed.
