What are your future goals?
Continue growing food to be used throughout the winter months to serve the area homeless shelter and soup kitchens. Crops are chosen for what works best in a hearty soup, healthy bread and tasty vegetable-based dessert

This is an exciting, unique program and has received a great deal of support from the Orono Parks and Rec Dept. along with the UMaine Cooperative Extension Office and Master Gardener Program. We are fortunate to be able to partner with so many like-minded organizations and receive support from outstanding professionals in the field of sustainable agriculture.
