Boyd St. Garden is managed by Portland’s food justice nonprofit, Cultivating Community.
What programs does your garden project include?
Half of the garden is stewarded by high schoolers and open to the community to pick from. The other half is divided into plots for individual community gardeners to steward and harvest from.

We have a wide and diverse support system from Portland Public Schools to Garbage to Garden. Many institutions, big and small, help us keep the gardens producing.

Cultivating Community staff and volunteer groups.
What are your future goals?
To increase production, optimize composting practices, and possess ADA garden beds.
What is your most significant need?
ADA garden beds, no groundhogs, and infinite compost.
